We save horses wandering on a road near Seevic - Evening Echo

When Seevic staff noticed three escaped horses wandering loose outside the College last week, they acted quickly to get them to safety and made the local papers...

Quick thinking members of Seevic’s Estates Team, Gary Smith and Paul Bishop, noticed the horses’ predicament as they arrived for work on Monday morning.

Mr Bishop and Mr Smith managed to lead the animals to safety, locking them temporarily in the secure area beside the College, until the horses' owners could be located.

Staff and students at Seevic are always happy to meet their neighbours, but (in the interests of safety) the College requests that future visits be kept to the regular Open Evenings held throughout the year – the next one being on Thursday 3 July.
