Freshers' Day 2013 proves a smash hit!

Get -involved -webPublic Services students at Seevic College raised more than £700 for an educational end-of-year trip during the College’s Freshers’ Day, held on Monday 14 October.

Thirty-two Level 2 and Level 3 Public Services students took part in a sponsored 10-hour row to raise the cash for their visit to an outdoor adventure centre.

More than 500 students flocked to Freshers’ Day, which saw students take part in competitions, games and fundraising.

A wide variety of external organisations were also on hand to offer information and advice and hand out free goodie bags to students.

Activities on the day included inflatable golf, Xbox and Kinect sports games, fundraising and a live DJ.

External visitors included the Young Conservative Party, Rebecca Harris MP, Police and Fire Safety, College Chaplaincy and Student Finance UK.
