Seevic College students celebrate outstanding A-Level results
Thursday, 15 August 2013
The results are in, and Seevic College students are celebrating an outstanding set of A-Level grades - with a 98% Pass Rate and best ever High Grades.
Students waited eagerly in anticipation outside the College’s main Benfleet Campus, located in Runnymede Chase, for their results to be released at 9am this morning.
And the wait was worthwhile, as the hard work and dedication of both students and staff at the College paid off with a 100% Pass Rate in 30 courses.
Principal Nick Spenceley said: “I’m pleased that our A-Level results have improved to their best ever success rate this year. We already offer the widest choice of A-Levels of any institution in South East Essex, and we aim to see rapid improvement to the point where Seevic is regarded as the best provider of A-levels in the county.”

She said: “I’m really happy with my results. I’m going on to study a Law Degree at the University of Essex, as I really enjoyed Law at Seevic. I hope to become a Barrister or Solicitor.”
Sam Pollard, 19, achieved an A* in Applied Science and B’s in Psychology and Biology. He is now planning to study Medical Physiology at the University of Leicester, before continuing his studies to become a Doctor.
He said: “I’ve always wanted to be a Doctor and would like to specialise as a Cardiologist.”
