Students set to star in BBC's One ShowView article

Five students at Seevic College have been filmed for a feature to be broadcast on BBC's One Show on Friday 9 May. Students Phillip Smy, Ben Meyer, Catherine Thornton, Zoe Burton and Jed Cartwright, all 19, were invited to eat at Wimpy's in Benfleet, to mark the chain's 60th anniversary. The students were filmed tucking in to food before giving their opinions on camera to celebrity food critic Jay Raynor.

Two Seevic College basketball students have been selected to be part of a national squad tour to Denmark. Abbie Jones, 18, and Brad Wood, 16, captain of the girls and boys teams at the College, will take part in the 16 day visit representing England Basketball in September.
