32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
£15,104 per annum pro rata
A kitchen porter is required to support the work of our catering outlets. The successful applicant will accept deliveries and move stock and other equipment. Experience of maintaining accurate records, stocktaking, stock rotation and vending duties are required. Duties also include supporting the kitchen production and undertaking deep cleaning duties as per the departments cleaning schedule.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Candidates should be aware that the position includes a significant amount of manual handling.
Knowledge of safe working practices, a full clean driving licence and confidence to drive the college mini bus to transfer stock to various locations would be an advantage.
