Support for Learning
Learning Plus
SEEVIC College offers support to students who may need help to achieve their full potential. All students are offered a confidential interview with a specialist Tutor on entry, and support is provided according to individual needs.
This includes dyslexia, basic skills, EAL (English as an Additional Language), study skills (at all levels) and any other identified needs.
The atmosphere within Learning Plus is friendly and Tutors are supportive and approachable.
The type of support provided is based on individual needs and is negotiated with the student. Support will be provided which encourages independence and autonomy.
A wide range of IT resources and equipment are available for students to use. All students at any level wishing to discuss their needs prior to or after entry are welcome to call in to the Learning Plus Centre at any time without an appointment.

"English Language & Literature is my favourite subject as I want to have a career in writing fiction and this really helps me towards achieving my dreams. My subjects are taught by Tutors who love what they do so I learn and enjoy it a lot. The support at SEEVIC has been great as I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis." Brooke Thomas
