Choosing the right career path after leaving Seevic College is one of the most significant decisions you will ever make. We recognise this and have set up a dedicated Careers Centre so you can have easy access to careers information at all times. This is partly why Seevic College has been awarded the prestigious Recognition of Quality Award for Careers Education and Guidance for students, for the fourth time in a row. We have also received the Matrix quality standard for our information, advice and guidance service.

Whether you intend to progress into higher education or find employment after College, our fully-qualified Careers Team can offer expert support, advice and guidance. Throughout your course, tutors also offer help with career planning.

As well as an up-to-date careers library, our Careers Centre contains specialist sections on higher education, employment and training. The Centre's extensive IT resources allow you to access information on a wide range of career-related topics, from suggestions on which higher education course to follow, to instructions on how to produce an effective CV. It also has rooms for confidential careers discussions.

Visiting speakers inform students about both employment and higher education opportunities, and we publicise external careers events which may interest you. Every year a large number of our students visit the higher education Superfair, to gather information on higher education opportunities. We hold a College Careers Fair every spring, and our Job Shop always has details of full and part-time vacancies.
