The team successfully beat Barking 34-10 to secure their place in the final of the Essex Cup against Coopers’ Company and Coborn School.
The boys' spirits have been high since becoming AoC League Champions in January and have continued to push to in order to ensure they win the Essex title.
Director of Rugby, Danny Cleare, said: “The boys had a very pleasing performance and some of our attack was outstanding. We scored some excellent tries against a determined and physical Barking side.
“As a team we still have plenty of things to work on and we need to improve our game to ensure we beat Coopers in the final.”
The game consisted of six tries all by individual players;
- Norbertas Radzevicius, 18,
- George Griffiths, 17,
- Jake Spivey, 18
- Matt Dobson, 18
- Josh Ridgway, 17 and
- Kudzai Muzuzu, 17.
Griffiths, who is currently studying Level 3 BTEC Sport and Exercise Science said: “Getting through to the final is amazing but now the hard work starts.
“Coopers are always a hard team to face but we need to continue to train and work as a team to ensure we make our mark.”
