Seevic College is increasing the number of Apprenticeships they offer to positively contribute to the Government’s commitment of recruiting 3 million new Apprenticeships starts in England by 2020.
Launching two new Level 3 Apprenticeships in Social Media & Digital Marketing and Pharmacy, and one Level 4 in Business Administration, the college is also dedicated to increasing the skillset of the local community.
With a higher success rate than the national average, Apprenticeships at Seevic have gone from strength to strength since their introduction to the college in 2006.
Currently supporting hundreds of young people kick-start their career, 91% of its students progressed to employment or further education within six months of completing their course last year.
Combining both hands-on training and academic study, an Apprenticeship is the perfect way for those aged 16 and over to get ahead in their career.
And to ensure students have an even better chance of progressing after leaving Seevic, tutors also support students in building their experience in ten vital employability skills during their time at the college, based in Runnymede Chase, Benfleet.
The latest of its Apprenticeships, Social Media & Digital Marketing, is designed for those looking to enter, or are already working in, the industry. With the rise in the use of technology, there’s never been a better time than now to discover more about this rapidly growing area.
The College is holding an Open Evening on Tuesday 4 October 2016 between 6-9pm, where you’ll be able to explore these new Apprenticeships as well as understand this nationally recognised qualification further.
