Seevic’s Apprenticeships ‘rise to the top’

With a 15% higher success rate than the national average, Apprenticeships at Seevic College have gone from strength to strength since their introduction to the College in 2006.
Currently supporting over 600 young people kick start their career, the College aims to raise awareness of the qualification that nearly two thirds of parents do not know enough about to be able to explain to their child.
As part of National Apprenticeship Week later this month, the College are helping to improve the reputation of the nationally recognised qualification.
Taking place between 14 and 18 March, the week will focus on ‘rising to the top’ and celebrates Apprenticeships and the positive impact they have both locally and nationally.
Attending both Rayleigh Job Centre Plus on 14 March and Basildon University Hospital on 16 March, the College, located in Runnymede Chase, Benfleet, will be on hand to discuss the options available to young people looking to take their first step in their chosen industry.
The College will also be jumping online during the week, offering employers interested in hiring an Apprentice an opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the process. The live Q&A will be available on 18 March between 12-1pm; simply tweet your question using #askseevic.
Combining both hands-on training and academic study, an Apprenticeship is the perfect way for those aged 16 and over to get ahead. And with Apprenticeships from Accounting and Pharmacy to Marketing and Health & Social Care, alongside recently added pathways in ICT, Leadership and Management, there’s plenty to choose from at Seevic.
Alongside four days of employment working with experienced staff, Apprentices attend the College once a week where friendly specialists help them develop the skills employers want. Offering Apprenticeships from Levels 2 to 4, Seevic also have a dedicated team to support students with CV writing and interview training.
