Early Years Foundation Degree
Validated by University of Hertfordshire
Laura Hughes, 24, from Rochford, is a Targeted Support Assistant at Rochford Primary and Nursery School.
Laura graduated from the Foundation Degree in 2015. She now plans to complete a full Honours Degree and then apply for a Teacher Training programme to become a qualfied Teacher in a Primary School.
"I previously studied an Open University course but it was part-time, would have taken six years to complete and I only saw a Tutor once every six weeks.
"You are encouraged to feel that you can truly achieve your potential"
"The route at Seevic was simple by comparison: I could attend college one day a week and work alongside people who were in the same field but different settings. Deadlines and expectations are clear and you are encouraged to feel that you can truly achieve your potential and more. I would definitely recommend it.
"I feel proud to have now graduated. My advice would be: if you have a dream, achieve it. Always believe in yourself and never give up!"
