We're proud of what our apprentices have achieved with us at Seevic College and during their time in the workplace.
Take a look at just a couple of the many success stories we've had in incorporating our proactive apprentices into well-established organisations.
MSB & Co Accountants
MSB & Co Accountants have three offices in Benfleet, Canvey Island and Basildon.
"Apprentices are in a very strong position to be offered permanent positions within the practice at the end of their course.
"Seevic College has been very proactive in trying to place the right candidates for each office."
WSS Media, based in Leigh-on-Sea, provides creative branding and marketing advice to a wide range of clients.
“In the past I’ve employed people and found you have to get them to adjust to how the company works. Apprentices are eager and find it easier to understand the mindset of your business.
“The interview process allowed me to get to know each of the candidates and what their different strengths were. I have no reservations when it comes to the service we’ve had from the college; I can’t fault it at all.”
Carers Choices is a local charity supporting carers and the people they care for, with a Day Centre for Adults with Disabilities based in Benfleet.
"Having an apprentice means that I can teach them everything they need to know whilst I am paying them a reduced wage.
"My experience of apprentices is that they are not doing the apprenticeship for the money, they are doing it because they are genuinely interested in this field of work."
Eco Wings is a centre for adults aged 19 to 30 years with learning and/or physical disabilities providing life and social skills.
"At Eco Wings we value the contribution of all the apprentices that work with us. Their interest and dedication to engage in the care industry is most welcome. The demand for this type of employment is rapidly growing, and so it is a very worthwhile career path to support.
"We have found our working relationship with Seevic to be a very positive one and we look forward to continuing to work together."
Field & Co Accountants
Field & Co Accountants are based in Benfleet and currently employ three apprentices through Seevic.
"Seevic have been very helpful in supplying candidates for interview and making training arrangements quickly and efficiently.
"We would definitely recommend working with the college to other employers."
Based in Southend-on-Sea, Digital Pie helps others to expand their business online.
"Our apprentices have introduced new life and energy to our business.
"On several occasions, Seevic have gone above and beyond for our apprentices to ensure their happiness and wellbeing."
