Build your knowledge and understanding of creative design processes, with the option to top-up to a full degree at university.

You will study two qualifications, receiving a nationally recognised Higher Education qualification at the end of each year:
- Higher National Certificate (first year)
- Higher National Diploma (second year).
A Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) together are roughly equivalent to the first two years of a BA (Hons) degree.
During the first year of the course you will explore a broad range of subjects and processes, including:
- Fine Art Painting
- Graphic Design
- Lens-based Media
- Installation and Display
Whilst in your second year, you will select your own, more specialised pathway. Focussing on professional practice, you will undertake real work experience to gain essential skills for your career.
How Will I Be Taught and Assessed?
Throughout the two years, you’ll be taught across a range of core and specialist units consisting of 240 credits. Your assessment for each unit will differ; from preparing research and work journals to portfolios and exhibited artwork.
