Level 3, Fast Track Apprenticeship
Duration: 18 Month Course
Progress your career in Accounting with our Fast Track AAT Apprenticeship.
An Apprenticeship in this field can get you entry to a number of successful careers in business and beyond.
Alongside studying a number of core modules, you'll specialise in areas such as financial and accounts support, bookkeeping, auditing, tax and payroll.
So if you enjoy working with numbers and are keen to understand how a successful business works, this nationally recognised qualification could be for you.
Core units include:
- Accounts Preparation
- Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnership
- Indirect Tax
- Costs and Revenues
- Professional Ethics
- Spreadsheet Software
- Bookkeeping Transactions
- Bookkeeping Controls.
At college, you will also be delivered training in Personal Learning & Thinking skills.
These units will be delivered over 12 weeks.
How Will I Be Taught and Assessed?
You will attend college one day per week and be assessed through online exams.
This Apprenticeship will also involve an End Point Assessment, consisting of two parts:
- A synoptic end-test giving the apprentice the opportunity to tackle a series of business-related tasks through a simulation. This will be assessed through the existing AAT synoptic assessment that maps to the current AQ2016 Advanced Accounting Qualification (Level 3)
A portfolio of evidence that demonstrates competence in the knowledge, skills and behaviours in the standard, gathered from the apprentice’s practical experience in the workplace, combined with a reflective discussion: a structured interview to examine the portfolio evidence and the learner journey in more detail. The reflective discussion will be conducted by an Independent Assessor (IA) appointed by AAT.
