What will I do?

Delivery will involve practical work and small workshops, discussions, question and answers, role play and case studies. These will include an awareness of how preschools can provide learning opportunities for children and parents and a basic understanding of the management of preschool settings, including the legislation within which they should work.

You will also gain a basic understanding of how pre-schools support children’s learning and development through the
activities and environment which they provide and a basic understanding of how the adults in the pre-school environment
interact with the children. This course is suitable for parents, newly appointed and/or unqualified staff in preschool
