To apply to SEEVIC College, Benfleet Campus download the 16-19 Application Form, complete both pages of the form and send it to:

SEEVIC College welcomes applications from students throughout the region. Students currently apply to the College from over 100 different schools and colleges.

Partner Schools
SEEVIC College works closely with its seven Partner Schools to assist students in choosing the right programme of Sixth Form study. Our Partner Schools are:

  • The Appleton School, Benfleet
  • Castle View School, Canvey Island
  • Cedar Hall School, Thundersley
  • The Cornelius Vermuyden School, Canvey Island
  • The Deanes School, Benfleet
  • Furtherwick Park School, Canvey Island
  • The Sweyne Park School, Rayleigh

We guarantee a place for all our Partner School students at SEEVIC College, providing they apply by the date agreed with the Partner Schools each year.
This date is currently set at 26 February 2010
. Students will, of course, need to meet entry requirements for individual courses. If you attend one of these schools, please complete the Application Form and return it to your school, who will forward it to us.

When your Application Form has been received by SEEVIC College, it will be entered onto our database and you will receive an acknowledgement letter.


How to complete your Application Form
Choosing your Programme

Level 3

AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians)
Select the AAT Intermediate course to study for one year.

A Level
1. Choose three AS Level subjects you would like to study for two years.
2. A BTEC National Award may be taken in place of one AS Level (please note that this is a two-year commitment).
3. Choose one additional AS (specify 1st and 2nd choice) to study in year one.
4. You will also study AS Level General Studies.
5. During your first year you will be able to change your choice of A2 to study in year two.

Advanced Diploma
Select the Advanced Diploma you would like to study for two years.

BTEC National Certificate/Diploma or Administration & Secretarial Studies
1. Choose the BTEC National or Administration & Secretarial course you would like to study for two years.
2. On some courses you may study supplementary course(s), this will be discussed at Interview.
3. An additional course may be selected alongside a BTEC Certificate, this will be discussed at Interview.
4. In addition, an AS Level may be selected alongside an Administration & Secretarial course.

Levels 2 & 1
1. Select the one-year course of your choice.
2. If choosing the GCSE programme you are required to select five subjects. It may be possible to replace one GCSE with a supplementary course, this will be discussed at Interview.
