SeevicPersonal & Social Development (PSD)
Campus: New Campus Basildon
PSD is a complementary course run alongside the Foundation Learning programme. It intends to develop the whole person incorporating personal and social development skills. Units that may be covered include: Rights & Responsibility, Environmental Awareness, Preparing for Work and Healthy Living to name but a few, to support your journey to independence.
The course is portfolio based and you will undertake between 3, 6 & 9 challenges per unit, working through the topics to build your portfolio to gain the qualification.
The PSD units will facilitate your chosen vocational area and help prepare you for whatever the future holds.
"There are many examples of good practice. Folders are detailed and include different types of challenges. A variety of activities have been used for skills units.
