What will I learn?

This course will enable the student to gain an Extended Certificate in Digital Applications. It is aimed at teaching students real world skills using a variety of software packages. You will study a range
of units including:
• Games Authoring
• Multimedia
• Graphics

The course includes Functional Skills Literacy and Numeracy. You will complete a diagnostic assessment to ensure you are enrolled on the right level course for you, if you work hard you will have the opportunity to progress to higher levels throughout the year.

General Entry Requirements
The ability to contribute and benefit from the programme of study.

Specific entry requirements
GCSE grades D to G in a range of subjects.

How will I be taught and assessed?
The course has both practical and written elements. Assessment is based on assignments and coursework set throughout the year.
