What will I learn?
This course is aimed at students who are primarily interested in gaining practical skills and experience prior to joining the Performing Arts industry. The units on the course have been devised to give a balanced programme for skills development in the Performing Arts. Students will fully participate in all aspects of production and administration. Students will perform in a wide variety of productions. Theatre trips and workshops are organised, including trips to London theatres.

How will I be taught and assessed?
Students will be taught through practical workshops and discussions. Assessment is mainly based on practical exploration but there is an element of theory too in each of the units.

Specific entry requirements
Entry to the appropriate level of qualification will be determined at an interview and audition. There will be an audition you will need to attend.

General Entry Requirements
At least 4 GCSEs at grade C or above or a Level 2 BTEC Diploma (or equivalent) in a related area at Merit Level. You will also need to commit to an additional 8-12 hours of study per week.
