What will I learn?
This course is aimed at students who are primarily interested in gaining practical skills and experience prior to joining the Performing Arts industry. The units on the course have been devised to give a balanced programme for skills development in the Performing Arts. Students will fully participate in all aspects of production and administration. Students will perform in a wide variety of productions. Theatre trips and workshops are organised, including trips to London theatres.

How will I be taught and assessed?
Students will be taught through practical workshops and discussions. Assessment is mainly based on practical exploration but there is an element of theory too in each of the units.

Specific entry requirements
You must have an interest in Media and be motivated to learn and study. A minimum of four GCSEs A-C or BTEC First Merit grade including GCSE English or Level 2 Literacy. If you do not have Maths you will need and be given the opportunity to achieve a numeracy qualification whilst studying for your Level 3 Media.
