What will I learn?
Psychology looks at a range of aspects of human behaviour in a scientific way. This course looks at ideas about why people behave in the way that they do and at research studies that provide evidence.
How will I be taught and assessed?
A core aspect of Psychology involves learning about designing research and analysing data. Students will appreciate the importance of research methods and gaining new knowledge and develop critical awareness of such methods.
Specific entry requirements
C or above in GCSE Maths.
General Entry Requirements
At least 5 GCSE's at grade C or above which must include English Language GCSE.
An average point score of 5.0 calculated from all of your GCSE subjects.
A commitment to an additional 4 hours of study per A Level subject per week.
What could I do next?
Psychology combines well with a range of subjects, including arts and sciences. It is good for progression to higher education and is particularly useful for careers that involve working with people.
