Seevic collaborates with South Essex College

Seevic Principal Sarah Wright

Seevic is teaming up with South Essex College to work together in order to explore ways of collaborating that will protect and enhance Further Education (FE) and the learning experience of students across South Essex. Both colleges are keen to avoid unnecessary duplication and competition. Independent consultants from Tribal will be considering a variety of options and will provide Seevic and South Essex College with a report within two months.

Seevic hopes this collaboration will provide a more co-ordinated, strategic focus to better meet the needs of learners, employers and the communities of South Essex.

The collaboration will allow Seevic and South Essex College to share best practice and pool resources to leverage further improvements in quality and success rates and ensure the Colleges become outstanding providers. It will also help to offer more coherence in the learning offer and to avoid any unhelpful competition and wasteful duplication of services and facilities.
