Seevic Graduates celebrate Degree success

A graduation ceremony recently took place for Seevic College BSc Sports Coaching & Physical Education students. The degree is validated by Anglia Ruskin University, so was held close to their campus in Cambridge, at the Corn Exchange.

Graduates

The event was attended by 14 of 16 students who passed the degree, and their friends and family, allowing them to officially recognise their well-earned achievements with a presentation ceremony. This was followed by light refreshments and a chance for students and families to mingle with lecturers.

Ian Gummery, Seevic Lecturer for the degree students, said: “Although the students already have their degree certificates, the Graduation Day marks the ceremonial end to three years of hard work. It is their day to be officially recognised by the University, in front of their family and friends, as being degree-qualified. For the tutors it is a day to proudly remember students who may have arrived at Seevic as 16 year olds, and who are now leaving after five years of studies as highly promising adults.”

Seevic College wishes the graduates all the very best as they move on to future endeavours.
