SCORE students pay a festive visit to Godden Lodge
26 students from Seevic’s SCORE football programme paid a visit to residents at Godden Lodge Care Home recently.

Students from Seevic’s SCORE football programme welcomed Christmas in by giving out boxes of chocolates to residents and their families, which were donated by the students.
The staff at Godden Lodge said that SCORE’s visit has become a highlight for the residents and something they really look forward to. Many relatives that were visiting their loved ones at the home expressed their gratitude for the effort made by the students.
Laurie Carter, Seevic SCORE football programme manager, who accompanied the teams to the Lodge, said, “All the players representing the college were fantastic in the way they interacted with the residents and staff at the home resulting in us being asked to return next year. We intend to make this visit an annual event on the SCORE calendar for years to come."
