The Board of SEEVIC College are delighted to announce that they have appointed Sarah Wright to the post of Principal and Chief Executive Officer with effect from October 2009.

Chairman of SEEVIC College, Bob Pluck says “Our warmest congratulations go to Sarah. The task of appointing a new Principal is a challenging one and the Board of Corporation were presented with a strong final shortlist of candidates. Sarah impressed us in many ways and most particularly with her obvious commitment to providing all our learners with an outstanding quality of experience.”

Sarah Wright was previously Vice Principal at Warwickshire College. Warwickshire is a large College, based over six campuses, and graded as ‘Outstanding’ through successive OFSTED inspections.

Sarah read History and Politics at University of Warwick and went on to teach GCE A Levels for more than a decade before moving to a variety of leadership roles in Colleges, including that of Senior Director at Solihull College, before being appointed to her current role of Vice Principal.

Sarah Wright says “I am extremely pleased and proud to have been appointed to head the senior team and lead SEEVIC College into the future. The dedication and enthusiasm of the students, staff and Governing Body of SEEVIC were evident during the selection process and I’m very much looking forward to working with them.”
