Cudicini spent time with the children, aged between 5 and 14 years of age, giving them a taste of what it’s like to be a professional footballer, he said: “It can be difficult being a goalkeeper, you are the last man that has to save the goals, it is a great responsibility, and you have to be strong mentally.”

The Soccer School, which took place during half term, provides fun-filled days for children of all footballing abilities giving them the chance to improve on their football skills in a fun and friendly environment.

Former SEEVIC College student Luke Jones is a coach at the Soccer School and provides training and mentoring as well encouraging participants to take advantage of the College’s sports facilities, giving them a chance to show off their skills.

The large playing fields, open spaces and large undercover sports hall at SEEVIC College provide the perfect venue for events such as this. These sports facilities are available for hire and are suitable for conferences, events and sports activities/classes.
