“Due to a change in my personal circumstances I decided to return to education after 25 years, having left school at 15 with no qualifications. At SEEVIC College I completed an ACCESS Planning course and then went on to study the ACCESS to Higher Education course as I knew I would need qualifications to find a career. The staff were very helpful, encouraging and supportive throughout the course. 

I was amazed at how much I enjoyed learning and still do. Since completing the courses at SEEVIC I have been to University and completed a degree in Business Administration, gaining a 2:1, I then attended the Institute of Education for teacher training and I am currently completing an MA in Education.

I was not confident at all when I started, but looking at my first pieces of work I completed on the ACCESS Planning course and comparing this to my Masters dissertation I can see how much I have learnt and developed. Gaining qualifications gives you confidence and choices about your future.”
