Access to Higher Education
Suzanne Clements, 18 from Wickford, is currently studying the Access to Higher Education Teaching pathway.
She says “I always wanted to work with children, so after I finished school I went on to study Health & Social Care with a view to become a paediatric nurse. I soon came to the conclusion that becoming a nurse wasn’t meant for me though and, after previously working at a school, realised teaching would be a good pathway.
“I researched colleges that do the Access course and discovered Seevic offered it. I’d been to Seevic before and it had a good feeling about it so I decided to apply.
“My main subjects are Biology and Psychology. I particularly like Psychology; we’re currently learning about conformity, why people do things and try to conform.”
Suzanne hopes to go to Brighton University to study a degree in Primary English Education with QTS after completing her course.
