Having completed her BTEC Level 3 Health & Social Care with us in 2015, Monique is looking forward to a career in counselling.
A former St Bernard High School pupil, Monique undertook a part-time job in a care home before using her D*DD to progress to university to study Counselling with Young Adults.
Speaking about her time at Seevic, Monique said that she chose the college due to the Health & Social Care course that was available. She also added: "The college was local to where I live, and very easy for me to get to.
"I really enjoyed being a student at Seevic, due to the freedom, structure and support that you receive.
"You are treated more independently, and a lot more like an adult.
"My tutors were amazing; they always gave up their time to support us during the course."
Speaking about the advice she would give future students of the college, Monique concluded: "I would say to just focus on your time in college to ensure you get through the coursework, exams and essays you need to do - but don't forget to enjoy yourself along the way!"
